We went to the farmer's market this weekend and mama also gave me some couves from the garden. I have been doing "green smoothies" every morning and it feels great! Might be psychological for now, but that is okay. Some days I have it alone in a huge glass, other days I have a glass with a piece of wheat toast or an egg.
I haven't been great about my diet so this is just a first step in the right direction and I am feeling good about the diet and exercise at this point :)
Best part: "making up" the workout I missed the night before...I think if it wasn't for this challenge workouts would be missed and not made up and then I'd slip back into not working out at all.
Best part: I got up early in the morning to do this. It was nice to get it out of the way in the morning and I was proud that I did it after running the night before!
I have been sick all week and then we had a conference at work so it has been extremely busy. I know, there are always excuses, but I feel much better and plan to make up a lot this week (like you did last week).
